Workflow Database Migration??

Do I upgraded a customer from v 8 to 9 a few months ago.  In that upgrade included the Workflow Upgrade, which created a new Workflow DB for v. 9 as there were still documents in process with Workflow 8.  Is there a way to tell if there are any more documents still in process using the Workflow 8 DB so that we can retire that DB and remove it as we're moving to a new server and would prefer to keep it clean?

When you search in the Workflow Designer 8.0 you only get the workflows running in the 8.0 server. Same with the newer version, you only get the instances from the new server, there's no cross-search.

You can search for running instances.

How do I know if those running instances are from the Old db or the New one?
