error 9520 causing confusion for public portal users

When the Weblink 8 pool runs out of licenses, it is returning a 9520 error.

Our customer was wondering if there was a way to customize this error message to provide a more descriptive text for the end user...

Hi Mario,

Error 9520 is an error related to licensing, which means that the error is being returned by the Laserfiche Server itself. From a server standpoint it is not currently possible to customize this error. However, it is possible to change how a web browser displays this error; take a look at the code posted in this Answers post for a solution!
