IFTTT allows numerous common applications to integrate with each other for Workflow. We can already somewhat integrate with IFTTT in some capacity by sending it e-mail triggers, though these are nonsecure. IFTTT does not have a Webhook option, so we can't just post to it using a Web Service activity in Workflow.

However - it would be good to create a Laserfiche channel that allows you to call a public-facing Workflow service. That would allow people to create triggers that kickoff Laserfiche workflows when other actions happen, such as:

- When someone tweets a particular hashtag, kickoff a workflow that archives that tweet

- When my android device drops from the town wifi network and it is after 4pm, kickoff a maintenance workflow

- When the weather forecast drops below 32 degrees, kickoff winter weather related Business Processes

These are silly examples, but the number of triggers available on IFTTT would make this a major enhancement to any Workflow system - and none of Laserfiche's competitors appear to have made a move to integrate with IFTTT.
