Zone OCR reads only one line

Hi,

I am trying to use zone OCR on a form and the zone contains 2 lines of text. I have attached the screen capture, so you can get a better idea of what we're trying to scan. My question is can the zone-ocr read both these lines (orientation as well as #100 in this case) because whenever I test the process, it seems like it gets only the first line (orientation). How can I fix this? Any other processes I should be using instead?

Hi Shraddha,

By default your Zone OCR regions will only pull back the first line of text read. You can change this behavior by opening the Advanced options of the zone in question and changing 'Single line' to 'False.'

You need to adjust your OCR settings through the Advanced options. From there you can change the setup from Single Line: True to Single Line: False.

Please see this help page. Make sure that the advanced options for your zone are set such that the "Single line" option is False.
