Question

XmlColumnDisplay

asked on October 27, 2014

So, I've just been introduced to this XmlColumnDisplay which has taken over my ability to add delete Column Profiles individually.  In following instructions on how to make changes going forward, I have discovered I have multiple Data files in my Administrator user profile and am not sure whether I can delete everything but the most recent.  Could you advise?  Can I delete all but the most recent one (including the ones marked MULTI-ATTR:2 and MULTI-ATTR:10) and just update the one marked Data9 for any new changes?

These attributes aren't meant to be modified by hand, the new format uses xml to store everything. MULTI-ATTR means the value is too long and was split across multiple attributes. Data0-Data9 are all part of the same XML document containing the column display information.

What exactly are you trying to modify? Are you trying to delete a specific column profile? XmlColumnDisplay contains your remembered column layouts, XmlColumnProfiles contains your saved column profiles.
