Question

Retry permissions in Forms 9.1.0.1441

asked on October 27, 2014

What LF permissions does a user need to be able to successfully retry a suspended forms task in FORMS.   I have a user who needs to be able to unsuspend the save to laserfiche function, however FORMS does not allow her to.   She is listed as an admin in FORMS, but not on LF Repository side.

Thanks,

The Save To Repository Service task use the right of the user configured in the profile to store the documents to the repository, so there should be no difference when different user retry suspended task from Forms. Please open a support case with detail information.

Hello Rebecca,

The only access right that needs to be assigned is Admin in the Forms Process Modeler. Nothing has to be set in the Administration Console. Have you tried un-suspending the task from another admin's account?

The user that can't do this is set as an Admin on that Form - she actually created the form.   I am another Admin in the system and I can un-suspend the tasks.   The difference between the 2 of us are setting in LF itself on the repository.   I have full rights to everything as the main admin for all the repositories.   She is a normal user in the repository , however she does have full rights to the folders that the save to repository is saving to.  Any ideas?

I would suggest opening a support case. If she is an admin and the creator of the form, from a configuration standpoint, this should not be an issue.
