Any way I can display both record Series #, and Record Series Name in the search results for Record Folders ?

For record folder, I am assuming I can display path (which will almost give me what I need).

Client needs to report these out, and without explicitly assigning the record series number into the field data, I can't see a way to display this when viewing search results in Laserfiche RME search.

We then export these list results and bring them into a sheet which details Record folders on which we are "destruction eligible" for department sign-off.

Is there a workaround that can give me this data or does anyone have a suggestion ??

Can you explain what the issue is with the path? You said it was almost what you needed, but since it has both the Records Series Code and the Record Series Name, I'm not sure what is missing.

I can use the path, but it is a workaround.

My question at this point, is

a) whether the explicit values for series # and Record Series Name are available via token, or as an accessible value under the pre-defined RME fields, and if not, can this be added somewhere as a feature request as it would be helpful to have them, and they are already explicitly defined on the record series folder.

In the scenario of having nested record series, is the presumption that you'd only want to know the record series code and name of the immediate parent of the record folder?

Alex:

This is correct. I would simply like the Record Series #, AND, the Record Series folder name (preferably broken out as 2 seperate fields), which in 99% of cases will be the immediate parent folder.

As a follow-up to my original question. I currently display the Path of a record folder, which gives me the Series # and Series Name in one output.

Can I apply a regex or filter expression to the displayed fields in the LF browser such that it yields just the Reccord series number from the full RS path ?

Ex. Record Path: 01 Accounting\01-001 Purchase Orders

Desired Output: 01-001

This would need to be defined on the fields view (from the search window) such that it returned just the series number in the search results.....

Any creative ideas ??
