Question

Duplicate Pages When Scanning

asked on October 22, 2014

Has anyone else been having the problem when they are scanning documents into Laserfische and then each page is duplicated? A 8 page scan turns into 16 pages. For the small packets, I can go in and delete them manually. But for the larger packets, the ones with over 100 pages, doing it one by one would be a pain. Is there a setting in Laserfische that I can uncheck? It could be a scanner driver problem, but I want to narrow it down first. Any help is appreciated.

What scanning application are you using? Also, what version of LF are you on?

OS: Windows 7 64bit Pro

LF: 9.1.1.548

Scanner: Canon DR-2010C Drivers v13SP4

This happens to us on only one machine.  It is only the first scan of the day( or week for the user).  After the first scan of documents this will not happen again and it is difficult for us to track.

This happens occasionally as well for 2 separate users and 2 different machines. They both have a Canon DR4010C scanner. They have version LF Client 9.2.0.343. It's difficult to pinpoint as well since it's not something that happens consistently.

Has there been any resolution for this? I now have a customer with this issue?

I came across this issue today in Scanning 8.3 using a Canon DR-4010. I cleared out the user's attributes and that fixed the issue of each page coming in twice of a scanned document.
