auditrail database connection error

I have installed LF Rio 9.2 on a Windows 2012 64bit server with SQL Express 2012 64bit. When I try configuring the AuditTrail, I am getting the attached error messages.

If I do it through the Wizard or manually I am getting two different error messages.  Please see the attached pictures.  What could be the cause this?

This is an issue with Audit Trail in that it isn't able to use the SQL Server 2008 R2 Native Client that the Laserfiche 9.2 installation package has switched to. However, the installation package still includes the SQL Server 2005 Native Client that Audit Trail can use. You would just need to manually install that.

Open the Laserfiche Rio 9.2 installation package and browse to the \en\Support folder. Run sqlncli_x64.msi to install the 64 bit SQL Server 2005 Native Client. Once that's installed, go back into the Audit Trail configuration page and try manually configuring the database connection again.

You need to install SQL Server 2005 Native Client. You can find a copy in the Support folder in your Rio package.
