How to restrict users to PRINT certain files in Laserfiche repository?

We have a "Print" as a Feature Right in Laserfiche. Which means that if I disable the "Print" feature right for certain user, He/She will not able to print any of the documents in the repository.


What if we want a user to "print" certain documents and to "view but not print" certain documents?

Is there any work-around to achieve this?

Not really. 

 

In addition, if the user is viewing documents that are not native tiff images they always have the option to print your documents from the electronic viewer for that doc type (think word and PDF here). 

This also applies for your web users. Since they are already viewing the document over a web page they have the ability to use the print feature of their browser.
