Tooltip for Form Title - Laserfiche Forms 9

asked on October 15, 2014

Wondering if I can add a Tooltip to the Form Title.  Similar to adding a tooltip to various form fields, but the Advanced tab for the Form Title doesn't have it by default.

Use some javascript with a link or button. You can make it so that when you click on a link/button, it initiates some javascript. In this case, the Javascript will be an alert, which will contain the literature you are hoping to include in the form.

That's a great option as well if you don't want the mumbo-jumbo on the form at all.

I'm curious, what's the idea behind this?

I'm working on publishing a disclosure form and want to house the legal mumbo-jumbo within the tooltip.  I'm toying around with a work-around (using a field immediately after), but having the tooltip right on the form title would be the cleanest solution.

You could try doing it in a Section field that is collapsible. This would hide it mumbo-jumbo unless they choose to expand the section.
