Scaning Scenario

asked on October 15, 2014

Dears,

suppose I have a physical folder which contains a number of documents:

1- documents of 1 page per document.

2- documents of  multipages per document.

For example, a physical folder contains 100 pages. It is about 5 to 10 batches, each of 2 to 4 pages stapled together as one document and each page of the others is a document. at the end if scanned in Laserfiche I will have maximum around 70 to 80 documents, more or less.

If I want Quick fields to automatically process the folder, I am thinking of adding for each stapled batch 2 barcode separators, one at its beginning (START) and another at its last page (END), and keep the single pages without any identifier.

How can I configure quickfields in way that it identifies each batch by its  beginning and its end as one document , and  to identifies each single page as one document?

Please to advice any solution.

Thanks,

Thanks, We did it by two classes. The first class identifies the batch files by the start (First Page) and the end barcode separator pages (Last Page), and all the others will be processes by the second class each as a single page.
