Slow opening of Office documents stored in Laserfiche

I have Microsoft Office 2013 electronic documents in a Laserfiche Repository. When I click to open them from within the Laserfiche Client 9.2 it take 7-10 seconds before office starts to load and 10-15 seconds before the document displays. However if I open the document outside of the Laserfiche client office opens in 1-2 seconds and the document displays in 3-5 seconds.

Are there settings or optimizations that will allow the documents to open faster from within the Laserfiche client?

If the Client is not configured to open electronic documents using WebDAV, then a copy of the file needs to be saved to the local workstation. You may want to see if that's where the bottleneck is. Otherwise, you can try using the WebDAV option.
