Upgrading from Laserfiche 5 to 9.2

Is this a 2-step upgrade: 1) use the Volume Converter and upgrade to 8.x, and then 2) upgrade to 9.2? Or can we go directly from 5 to 9.2 with the Volume Converter?

It is more steps than that unfortunately. If you want to upgrade the repository, you can do 5 to 6, and then 6 to 9.

If you opt to convert volumes, you can use the 5 to 8 converter and just attach the volumes directly to 9 (since 8 and 9 have the same volume structure).

Hi Raymond,

Is it possible to use the Volume Converter on version 5 volumes and then attach them to version 10. We only need to attach the volumes not upgrade a repository.
