Web Access, changing metadata date field

Some of my users are having a problem with changing a Metadata Date-field within web access. They are having it not be changed and if they attempt to use the calender option (instead of manual typing) they get a message saying the document is locked.

 

Is there an issue known that might be causing this?

When this occurs, are you able to make the same changes using Web Access on the server itself? Are these users in the same network location or off-site somewhere?

Not sure on the first point with web-access on the server. However these users are in off-site locations from the actual repository.

Behavior like this can be caused by latency or slow web connections.  You should look at the behavior in the network and outside of it to confirm.
