Find User activity not finding specific users, returning an Unknown error

I am using the Find User activity in multiple workflows and it is working great, except on 7 specific users.  For those users, I am getting the error Unknown error (Ox80005000)[0339-WF1].

 

Has anyone else seen this?  The users exist, I can find them in Active Directory, and the activity works in all other cases.  I am using WF 9.1.

I have contacted LSG and described the problem - I'm hoping that will get me on the right track.

With the help of Laserfiche Support Group, we determined that the users that were not being found were all in a Active Directory distribution group that had a "/" in the name.  This breaks the search functionality. Once we removed the / in the name, Find User worked perfectly.
