Can I hide templates at a folder level based on a specific user?

Is there a way I can hide templates at a folder level based on a specific user?   We have a couple of folders where the user must select just one template and want to avoid selecting a different one and displaying all the templates available.

Hi Juan,

 

Template security is repository wide and can't be set by folder location.

 

Perhaps you could use workflow to move and set a different template based on criteria and move to a folder which has security applied to work around this?

Thanks Chris, that´s a good idea.  I think I´ll have workflow assign the template so the user would just have to input the field values.   I´m not sure what happens with required fields, but I´ll try.
