Question

LaserRepository DemoLauncher instructions update for September 2014?

asked on October 3, 2014

Please can someone confirm to me either way whether or not new instructions are available to setup and configure DemoLauncher to be compatible with the LaserRepository that was made available on 17th September 2014 (see links below) and if such instructions are available please can someone direct me to where I can obtain them.

I ask this question because the only DemoLauncher instructions I can find on Laserfiche’s website, available at the link below, are dated 1st April 2013 and there are significant elements of the new LaserRepository that those instructions are now not relevant to.

Hi John,

The demo launcher instructions from 2013 are still applicable!  To sum things up, the demo launcher is just a collection of free utilities, along with some simple scripts.  The utilities that we're using have not changed, and the scripts included in the most recent version of the LaserRepository have been updated to reflect the changes we've made to the demos.  You should be able to figure things out no problem.  Let us know if you run into any issues once you get started!

This link (https://www.laserfiche.com/ChannelWeekly/Article/presales-place-setting-up-the-laserfiche-9-demo-launcher?UseCache=No) references the Admissions.ahk, which I got as part of the DemoLauncher download.  The Admissions form is not part of the LaserRepository download, however, as far as I can tell.  Am I missing a piece to the puzzle?

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
