Deprecation Policy

I’m starting to use several features in 8.3 while moving from 8.2. (server versions) and I’d like to know your policy for deprecating them in the future (if ever). I use catch-throw and custom query in the workflow designer. Will these ever be not available?

We're talking about Workflow activities, right? They're not going anywhere. They may be rolled into other activities (we combined Assign Fields and Assign Templates going from Workflow 8.0 to 8.3), but the functionality will not be lost.
