Question

Web Access Invalid License error

asked on October 2, 2014 Show version history

We are running LaserFiche Rio 9.0 and we have been getting a Web Access Invalid License error when trying to access our LaserFiche UAT server through a URL and through remote desktop to which the server is located. We have a Production server and a UAT server, but all of our licenses are house with the Production server.

We have tried to uninstall and reinstall the client. Reentered the License key. Restart the IIS server, check if Windows update has any conflicting patches installed, and we are unable to access LaserFiche Web Access.

Below is an image of the LaserFiche error that we are getting. We have a LaserFiche telephone number that we have been trying to reach, but it seems to be cut off and we can no longer can contact any representative.

Does anyone have an idea of what could be the problem?

Go back to the License Manager, delete the Web Access registered application that is currently there.  Once that is done, register Web Access again and generate a new Web Access license.  Take the lf.licx file from there and put it into the Web Access installation folder.  Do not keep any of the old licenses in there.  If you find any, remove them - only keep the one you just generated from the License Manager in there.

Thank you for the reply. The ‘ASP.NET Impersonation’ was already disabled in the first place. We are still unable to access the Web Access part.
