http://**.**.***.***/win-7h8d5de1fti/workflow wouldn't be a valid URL. If you confirm that http://**.**.***.***/workflow can be accessed by both local and remote workstations, then it's safe to change the Workflow Web Service URL in the configuration manager and then republish all business processes in the Workflow Designer.

From the computer where you're using the Client, are you able to access the server where the Workflow Web Service is installed using the hostname, win-7h8d5de1fti?

If not, then one suggestion would be to go into the Workflow Configuration Manager and change the Web Service URL to use an IP address instead. Make sure the computer where you're using the Client from can access the Workflow web server using that IP address.

Then you'll need to republish your workflow/business process from the Workflow Designer. After doing that, try using the Client again and see if you can launch the business process.

I just did a test and can get to the web service page using an IP address http://**.**.***.***/workflow

I tried http://**.**.***.***/win-7h8d5de1fti/workflow and got a 404 error.

If I make that change, do I have to republish all workflows? What affect will it have on the local machines? I dont want do get into something that will shut us down for a long period.

Thanks in advance.
