I am using security tags to secure documents in transparent records management folders. When I secure them with the tag it does hide the document from anyone without the permission but it does not hide the related shortcuts to that same document from them. If they click on the shortcut then they get an error message saying the document cant be found but I don't think the shortcut shouldn't show up at all. Is there a way to get the shortcuts for a document with a security tag to also be hidden if they do not have rights to the tag?

This is a known issue in 9.1, it has been fixed in 9.2.

I believe one of the reasons things are not this way is because it may add overhead to evaluate the settings on a per-user basis for shortcuts, which may have hundreds of shortcuts just for one document inside the repository. It does seem like a reasonable request though.
Do these users seeing the shortcuts have "Bypass Browse" privilege? What version are you on?
