So, I've been thinking...
If you had your own Laserfiche repository at home, what would you keep in it?

I'll say knitting patterns. Because even though I use Ravelry (the world's greatest product next to Laserfiche) to manage all my digital patterns, I have a ton of paper patterns it would be great to scan and organize. Then I could tag them with the appropriate metadata to find them easily, rather than trying to remember where in my house I was when I set them down last.
If you really wanted to get fancy, you could even set up Workflow reminders to remind you to start knitting certain patterns, or to send you emails to buy certain things you need the next time you're at the store. Maybe you could even use Forms and HTTP Web Request activities (something I learned about from the Steinhafels Solution Exchange article) to take these necessary items, collate them for approval, then generate shopping lists on your favorite websites.
Yep. With Laserfiche, I'd be an even more efficient knitter!
Off the top of my head, I'd store:
Hmmm, most likely I would keep all my personal documents in there (contracts, medical info etc.) and set up a variety of workflows to ensure I'm alerted about important upcoming tasks (like renewing my lease!)
Definitely all my tax and medical forms. Right now they're sitting in a box that also contains stickers and empty checkbooks. It would be nice to just have the stickers in physical storage, and to not have the checkbooks at all!
Besides the usual bank and medical records (neatly organized and retention schedules applied) I would keep all my numerous recipes that I have collected over my equally numerous years of cooking (and eating). That way I could use full text search for finding recipes that include things I already have in my fridge and/or pantry. Mostly, I would search for bacon, I think. Also, I could use Web Access and Laserfiche mobile to share or travel with my recipes to cook when not at home (happens more times than you would think).

Here's to Laserfiche the home game! As a free gift for playing along, I have attached a recipe that may not be my absolute favourite to eat, but it has the best name. Enjoy!

Due to recent life events, I've decided that the entire Laserfiche product suite could and should be used for will management. You could use Forms during the drafting phase so that geographically dispersed family members could write and sign the will; use version control to make sure the will is consistent; use records management to store all related documents; and most significantly, use Workflow to actually write and manage the will. They're full of conditional relationships anyway, why have a lawyer write it up in such a confusing manner? Workflow can also notify trustors, trustees and beneficiaries when conditions are met or are approaching.
In short, it would be SO MUCH BETTER than keeping 35-page wills filled with legal jargon that only lawyers understand.
I would log my homebrew recipes, searchable by grain/malt types, hop variety, and starting/ending specific gravity readings.
