Question

User rights to Upload files to LF Repository

asked on September 25, 2014

Hi all,

I am configuring the repository to Upload files from a third party software, specifically EzeScan.

This software connects to Laserfiche with a user and password.

Is there any documentation on which rights must this user have to enable this upload. This software is uploading files into a folder, applying template and metadata, and generating searchable text.

Regards,

Hi Andres,

We often roll out easyscan and in short just set it up with the admin account with full rights or make an easyscan user and give that account full rights. Is there a specific use case why you want it not to have full rights?

Hope this helps! laughyes

Hi Douglas,

Thanks for the tip.

Do you have a notice on how to do this?

Thanks a lot.

If you need some help configuring Ezescan I would reach out to them directly. It’s a big product, more than would fit in a post here smiley

We already with Ezescan but they said we need Laserfiche SDK.

Interesting.....did they say why? For our customers we just output the files to a path which is monitored by Import Agent. This then imports them into Laserfiche.
