Digital signature

Dears,

 

Could you please describe the purpose of having digital signature on Laserfiche? what was the alternative and what is its problem? As I understand that users can approve using fields metadata and workflow can ensure that the target user is the one who approved!!

Yes, you can use the SDK to sign documents.

If the document is modified after being signed, the signature becomes invalid.

The documentation outlines the use cases.  They can provide assurances that the document has not changed since the signature was applied, regardless of any enforcement of your business rules that you have set up in your workflow.  This is overkill for most situations, but if you really need it there isn't another way to get that kind of guarantee.

What will happen if someone changed the document after is has been signed?
