Question

The specified XML document is invalid: 9057

asked on September 22, 2014

We're getting the error 'the Specified XML document is invalid: 9057'  when trying to import an exported volume, as well as the stack trace below.  the event logs seems to point to the props.xml file and specified location inside of it.  Re-exporting the volume doesn't seem to help and it also happens on other volumes.  Things appear to be normal otherwise, what exactly could be causing these volumes to not attach properly?  Could there be some type of improper field or something that's preventing it from attaching?  Thanks in advance,

Your suspicion may be correct. However, we'd need to take a look at the .xml files to confirm. You can open a support case and provide a copy of the application event log and .xml files.

The volume was exported with encryption, i'm assuming you need a non-encrypted volume export?

Yes. If you can reproduce the issue with a test volume as well with dummy documents/data, that may be best.
