Rotate with Import Agent

Hi All,

 

I was wondering if there was a specific reason rotate never made it into Import Agent 9 as a feature?

 

I see it has been asked before but just looking for an update from LF?

Hi Chris, OCR rotate is available in Import Agent 9. it's a global setting, which is under Menu Profile -> Options -> OCR, then check Perform image enhancement, Configure.

If you use DCC to OCR documents, rotate is also configurable from there.

Hey Chris,

 

I can't speak to the specific reasons that developers did not include this feature, but I'd like to point out that you can use the Laserfiche Capture Engine and Quick Fields to pick up documents imported via Import Agent and automatically rotate them as needed.
