Question

Document and Form Path Settings not going where specified?

asked on September 16, 2014

In the process Modeler, I have set my task as follows (see screen shots) the form is set to go to the specified folder in Laserfiche and it's attachment to follow (Parent from location). Approval Path.  Both of my documents and a duplicate form are being sent to a new folder  with the following path: LFForms\Contract Submission Process\ 3_9/16/2014\Capture, LFForms\Contract Submission Process\ 3_9/16/2014\Contract CCO Submission, and LFForms\Contract Submission Process\ 3_9/16/2014\Contract CCO Submission (2).

  1. Why is it going to this folder and not what I've specified?
  2. Why is it not re-naming and assigning the template & fields to the document & form?
  3. Why is it creating a second copy of the form?

Note: I did assign the template and fields, but did not include in screen shot. Also DO NOT have the box checked for ' Save business process data as XML

Documents will be saved in folder COW\LFForms\Contract Submission Process'

Thank You for any guidance laugh

I would open a support case with your VAR so they can take a closer look.

I'm assuming you have a workflow that runs on the folder you are saving the documents to that come from Forms?

Blake,

No have not set up the workflow yet. I just want Forms\Process Modeler to put the form & documents where I set it to in the path settings once approved or rejected. My workflow will apply TRM after (i.e. move original to RM, create shortcut in user folders).

It's not saving the form\document to the folder path specified. frown

Is the profile validated?

Also, do you have the Save to Laserfiche enabled in the publish page? That may be why it is saving there like it does. I am assuming that your Save to Repository activity is actually just not saving at all.

I would check though to see when that activity is supposed to run if there is a workflow starting at the same time to move the expected documents somewhere else.

Got with my VAR. I had set actions (approve/reject) on my conditions for sequence flow between tasks where I shouldn't have. They should proceed gateway's and not necessarily between tasks.
