• What's your favorite Empower tip? even if this is your first year, don't be shy! everyone is super nice and everyone loves to talk about laserfiche!!

I can't believe it is time for Empower 2015. I am looking forward to catching up with all of my Laserfiche peeps from outside of Virginia and to take Mike Wells down in the SMACKDOWN 2015.

I work at a Small brokerage firm in Seattle, this is my first year at Empower - I'm so excited! I've been using Laserfiche for 8 years, but mostly as a repository... after my IT person introduced me to FORMS and Workflow, I've been working so hard at work every day to be able to work on Laserfiche... This is my mottow now:

• How long have you been using Laserfiche? Four years and counting
• Have you attended Empower before? First time in 2014 and will attend every year there after (hopefully)
• What are you looking to learn at Empower? upgrade procedures and more workflow
• Who are your favorite Empower instructors? Every instructor was great, can't pick one fave
• What's your favorite Empower tip? Meet as many of the staff, fellow users and vendors.  Hang out in front of the info centre for cookies.

I'll chime in on this as well.  I work for Tarrant County College and we have been using Laserfiche going on 2 years now.  This will be my second year at the Empower conference and I am excited to take the new records management and SDK classes.  We currently use almost all resources Laserfiche has but our main focus is on forms and advancing in the SDK aspect of the workflow designer.

We've been using Laserfiche since 2007. This will be my 4th year at Empower, and I have to say every year gets better and better!  (Although I'm not sure anything can top our Run Smarter Award win last year - woot! That was awesome!)

This year our team will be focusing getting even more serious about Workflow and Forms. We have a lot of approval processes we want to add to our current Laserfiche workflow system in the coming year, including our entire new advisor onboarding process. 

All of the staff and instructors at Laserfiche are excellent - as are all of the Empower attendees! I'm always amazed at how much information is available from everyone sharing their success stories and collaborating on their use of the system. The sessions and the stories are all exciting and it would be pretty much impossible to leave without some great ideas for how to implement new strategies and efficiencies in your workplace. 

I've got my I  Laserfiche t-shirt ready to go and I'll be wearing it! :)

I was looking back and it seems I became our "Laserfiche Guy" 8 years ago.

I've been to empower 3 times before - 2014, 2013, and 2007.  Each year has been a wonder, enriching experience, and I can't wait till Empower 2015!

I am looking forward to learning more from the other user groups about what they are doing, etc.  I'm signing up for advanced courses in administration, Workflow, and Forms, since we have lots of new opportunities in those areas.

All of the instructors are awesome!

Tip?  Hmm...  Take care when you schedule your classes.  There are a LOT of sessions on a LOT of topics, so it can be a bit tricky scheduling everything you want.  Many sessions are offered multiple times, too.

And... Network Network Network!  Find people who do what you do in other places, and get their info.  Go to the appropriate user group meeting, and meet people.  Reach out - your co-users are a valuable asset!
