count selected items from from Retrieve Field Value (All Values)

how can i count selected items from  from Retrieve Field Value (All Values) in workflow 8.3.1, i want to move document to folder name "based on first selected item" and create shortcut for same document into others folders based on selected items except the first selection.

as long as there is no count function on workflow version 8.3.1 or  8.3.2, i used token calculator with for each value and then used that counter on my workflow.
