Can not change Volume properties

I am trying to uncheck the box that says limit volume size to a size. This is for Archive volume I created manually. I can not save the change. I get attached error about path even if I am not touching that tab.

Hello Apurva,

This issue could be the result of several different things, but the first thing I would check is that a volume.id file exists in the volume's directory. If not, check this link for instructions. Please respond once you have checked if the volume.id file exists/re-created the file, if necessary, to let us know if the issue persists.

I had looked at that post after posting my question. That didn't work for me but I just renamed the folder and pointed to that folder in path. It wasn't the fix but kind of a workaround.
