Version 9.0. New user trying to open files and the thumbnails say error 6390 cannot open. But when she looks at a different folder with the same type of documents they load fine. These are scanned in timesheets. She can view 2013 but not 2014; The folders have the exact same Access Rights.
Question
Question
What is error 6390
Answer
So the issue is resolved now, after you configured security on the Payroll volume, allowing access to the Payroll - User group?
If this issue was only affecting the 2014 documents and not from past years, can you confirm that those unaffected documents themselves (not just the folders they reside in) are in the same Payroll volume?

I am the Laserfiche Administrator. The error is for the Thumbnail file. When I open the folder I can look at the files just fine. It is just this one user.
So when a specific user opens the 2014 documents, he/she can view the actual pages of the documents just fine? The issue is only with thumbnails?
And any other user that opens the same 2014 documents does not have this problem?
No the regular view was showing...but just looked and now it says Failed to load image. Access denied. [9013]. But I checked the 2013 and 2014 folders and the security is exactly the same.
So this is just weird. The Volume is set to Payroll, but the Payroll - User group was not added to that volume in the security. But she was still able to view all but 2014...even though all the folders are going to same volume.
Thank you for the help.

Well you figured it out...looks like those say Default...not Payroll. Shoot.
Is the issue only that the thumbnails display the 6390 error code, or is there also a problem viewing the actual images for those problematic documents?
The error could indicate that actual files in the physical volume are missing, or that the path to the volume that thoes documents belong to isn't set correctly.
You may want to contact your Laserfiche Administrator or reseller for assistance in confirming the volume integrity.
