Password Recovery Options for Laserfiche Forms Using 'Save & Complete Later'

asked on September 11, 2014

What are the password recovery options for Laserfiche Forms that utilize the 'Save & Complete Later' feature?

We're worried about form submitters entering a valid, but incorrect email address or the submitter simply forgets the password they entered.

Hi Eddie,

In Forms 9.2 authenticated participants and full users can access their drafts from the Forms inbox, as I indicated previously. In addition, as you have noticed, public users can request their passwords for accessing a saved draft.

Hi Eddie,

There is not currently a password recovery option in place for public users who choose to save their forms for later.

In Laserfiche 9.2 authenticated participants and full users will be able to see their form drafts within the Forms interface, so no emailed link will be necessary! This feature addition will negate the possibility of this scenario for everyone but public users.

Hi Kelsey,

Has this changed for Forms 9.2?  I found this web help that looks very promising: http://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/laserficheforms/9.2/en-us/forms/#Administration/Templates.htm?Highlight=retrieval

Please advise.

Is there any progress on being able to change a public draft password as an administrator or recover public drafts when the user forgets the password they protected it with?
