Email encryption

Is email encryption available when sending emails through Laserfiche?

What do you mean? SSL? You can enable that for the email service when configuring it with Workflow. 

 

If you mean something like RSA Public-private keys, you would need to use a custom script to encode the message and then send that information through an E-mail activity. 

 

If you can be more specific about what type of encryption/functionality you are looking for, you may get a more precise response

Hey Jennifer,

 

To summarize the conversation we had earlier, you can use a password to protect Laserfiche attachments when sending the document or pages as PDF.  If you're looking for additional encryption from emails that Laserfiche generates, you'll have to set that up in the Email client.  

 

I just wanted to make sure that the information I provided for you in the email is also on the Answers site so others with similar questions can refer tot his post.
