iOS 8 and the Laserfiche Mobile App

Hi all,

With the release of iOS 8 coming next week I've been asked if the Laserfiche Mobile App is compatible with it. The latest LF Mobile release notes state the iOS6 and newer is supported, but I thought I'd confirm directly as this KB article predates iOS8 by a few months.

Yes, the Laserfiche mobile app will be compatible with iOS 8. Any updates or changes to the app will be released as needed.

As you will find with most times a new iOS comes out, things made for the previous version will work just fine, however their are always changes to the app that will need to be made when the software changes, or just in general. I would not expect the ability to use Laserfiche Mobile with iOS 8 to be much different than with iOS 7.1

Remember, iOS is provided in Beta form to developers for the last few months so they have had the opportunity to test it.
