I am now using Chrome (rather than Safari), so I have an active scanner icon, but after downloading LfWebScan9.1.exe, my computer won't open it because OS X doesn't support Microsoft applications. Help?

How do I scan into Laserfiche Web Access on a MacBookPro?
Replies
Another option is to use a scanning program native to OSX, such as Image Capture or Preview, and drag and drop the file into Laserfiche. Since you're using Chrome, you can import files via drag-and-drop into Web Access just like you would with the Laserfiche Client (this works with Safari and Firefox as well). You won't be able to take advantage of Scanning's image processing, but it's a lot less overhead to deal with than setting up Parallels.
If you've never used Apple's scanning utilities, I recommend checking out their Mac Basics article on scanning.
Hi Sheryl,
You can use Parallels or an equivalent application that allows for the running of Windows based applications on Macs.
