asked on September 9, 2014

Recently our purchasing workflow has been getting terminated with this error code.

The user account name or password is incorrect. [9010] [RouteEntrytoUWWDirector___FCUS]

Could anybody shed some light on why this might be happening all of a sudden?

Thanks

One thing that can cause this error is to configure another workflow server that uses the same repository, and then instead of "Attaching" it, you "Add" it to the new server. You can re-register the repository on the machine that you're using and attach it.

If that doesn't work might have to see your stack trace to find an error.

Thomas,

From what you have shown here, this looks like an error coming from within the Workflow Designer, specifically in the RouteEntrytoUWWDirector activity. Can you give me more details on the configuration of this activity?

Without any more information, my first guess is that the account for the user that Workflow is attempting to access has been changed in some way. You can use audit trail to look for changes on that user’s account. Also check to make sure that the account Workflow is using to access the repository has appropriate rights.

Hi Thomas,

As Kathryn has suggested, you may consider to check on the password Workflow uses to log in to Laserfiche Server. Just today, we ran into the same situation, and found out that the default profile Workflow uses was not using the correct log in information.

I got this same error and this is what seems to be the problem. At least I changed the password for our user "Workflow" and then changed the credentials in the connection profile and it worked!

However, now I am going through my 30 or so workflows and changing the password on the credentials for every single one of them. Is there a better way? This seems like a design flaw of some sort. Is there a shortcut somewhere where I can change this once for all workflows?

I am not sure how the credentials got changed, but now that they are, none of my workflows are working and basically, our repository is non operational until I can take the time to sit down and change the credentials on 30 workflows. Which I'm doing, it just seems tedious and like there must be a better way to do this.

You can put in a connection redirect in the WF Admin Console. But then the connection profiles should still be updated and the workflows republished.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I'm going to give these a try and see where I get.
