Question

How to import a form after a user task ?

asked on September 5, 2014

Hello,

I have a form with a Business Process and a workflow. In the BP, I've created a user task to approve the form.

For now, when a user submit a form, it is send in LF Client, the workflow is executed on the submited form and the user set to approve receive the approbation form in "My Task". When the form is approved, then a new form is send in laserfiche. At the end, I have 2 seperated forms in the folder : the submited one and the approved one.

Now what I want is that form being send to the other user for approbation without sending it in Laserfiche after submit but just one time after approbation and then execute the workflow on the approved form.

How can I do that ?

Just so I make sure I'm understanding this correctly, you want the following to happen in the following order:

  1. User submits a form.
  2. Have the form sent to the user for approbation in "My Tasks".
  3. Send approved form to Laserfiche Repository

Is that correct?

If that is correct, all you need to do is add a Service Task after the User Task for the approbation and change the "Type" to "Save to Repository" and setup the connection settings.

Are you checking the box on the Publish page to "Save to Repository" or are you using a "Service Task" and setting that to save to the repository?

Hi Blake,

thank you for your answer. I've tried your solution, it doesn't works, the form is still send in LF Client in the same time that user approbation is create but I might made a mistake.  I send you a screenshot of service task settings.

I didn't made any changes on the Publish page so it should be on the Service task. I sent to you a screenshot from Service task settings because there are few fields that I don't know how to set and for what they are used for : "Profil du référentiel" and "Chemin". In english it should be something like "Repository profil" and "Path". For both fields I let them with no values. In the "Service task" settings there are two tab "General" (see on attachment) and "Output" : I didn't set any params on the Output part.

Hi there,

Did you setup a repository profile? specifying which server, which repository you want to save the form to?
