I have a user that is on a virtual environment. When they are scanning in Laserfiche the scan button does not reset until they click on cancel scanning. I had the user try to put in more paper in case the scanner was in a continuous mode but this was not the issue. Everything works fine for other users that use the same scanner. I was wondering if anyone ran into this issue and if so what did you do.

What version of Laserfiche?

It is version 9.1.1 with service pack 1. Prior to adding service pack 1 scanning did not work.

What Scan Source are you using (ex. TWAIN, ScanConnect,etc.)?
Does your scanner have an auto setting that is turned on? For instance, when you turn the power on, some have an On, Off, and Auto. Make sure it is turned to On and not Auto.

It is currently using TWAIN. I can look into if they have an auto setting on the scanner though why would it only affect the one user instead of all users?

If it is only for certain users, you might try deleting that users scanning attributes in the Admin Console and see if that helps.
