This is actually a two part request.
I see a need for business security reasons, to not only be able to hide the action history from view using CSS, but to actually do it from the server side.
We need two options really.
1. To disable the action history panel from even showing to users
2. To disable the ability if the action history is shown, for a user to see the previous submissions
let me explain each:
1. We need this because Forms is meant to be a non-technical solution to building business processes. This option is simply necessary because it is something I more often than not need to put CSS into the forms for users. Also, if you have a process where the initiator needs to resubmit information, we do not want them seeing the information that the supervisor might have fulfilled since it's not meant for them to see unless we are showing them a comment field.
2. This is simply a security thing. Why do we have to have the action history allow users to see previous submissions? Everyone has their own part, and they may need to see that certain steps were done by certain people, but they do not need to see the step by step submissions, and we may want to hide some sections from view.
Having these options available to us in the user task section of the process modeler screen would be beneficial. Maybe we can have a dropdown option, defaulted to action history, and then you can select "No Action History", "Show Action History" and "Show Action History With Links" so as not to add to many more lines of options to the user task settings (or just add an "Advanced" tab to the user task settings)
