aligning side by side fields CSS help.

Hi, I am having trouble with the CSS language to aligning fields side by side.  Any tip is greatly appreciated, I have also gone over the documentation but no luck there.  Thanks.

#q1, #q34 {display: inline-block}

^ should get you started in the right direction. Also this info, from the Laserfiche Support site, helped me.
