Can Laserfiche interact with Box? Also, tablet recommendations?

Two questions: 1) How can Laserfiche integrate with the Box business application to allow for collaboration? and 2) Does Laserfiche have any recommendations regarding what type of tablet to use when working with Laserfiche for Town Board Members?

I can answer the second question. The recommended tablet is the Apple iPad, as the Laserfiche Mobile app supports that the best. However, Android tablets also work well. If the customer has a preference for Android then you should check out sites on the web which review tablets and just pick the best one as any mid to high-end tablet released in the last year running Android should have no problem with Laserfiche. I have read good reviews of the latest Samsung tablets and the Nexus models.

Hey Caitlin,

I don't have experience working with Box, but in general, a good rule of thumb is that Laserfiche can integrate with almost anything that allows Laserfiche to integrate with it. In other words, Laserfiche is very rarely, if ever, the limiting factor in an integration. Using our built-in SQL activities in Workflow or leveraging the powerful and flexible SDK allows for many different types of integrations with many different products.

I know Box is based around online file sharing and cloud content management, and I know that there is at least one other cloud based integration already existing in the Integration Marketplace. Check it out and see if that would fit the customer's needs! If so, the existing integration would likely be much easier to implement than creating a brand new integration.
