Question

Search returns ROOT FOLDER

asked on August 19, 2014

A client reports that a search for documents/folders with criterion 'Last modified' and value 'Today' from the root or the repository returns a folder named 'ROOT FOLDER' among other results. Is there any reasons for this to happen?

Moving, creating or deleting documents changes the modified date of their parent folder. If any  changes happened in the first level of the repository, then the parent would be the root folder (the Client uses the repository name as an alias to display it in the folder tree). So that's a legitimate search hit.
