Trouble with ScanConnect for Kodak i2400

ScanConnect is not working with Kodak i2400 scanner.  After selecting the scanner from the list, it looks like the drivers are loading, however then it sends me back to selecting the scanner all over again.  The Kodak i2400 scanner is not listed, but I need a verification if this is why ScanConnect will not work.

Thank you for your replies.  The issue has been resolved.  Apparently, there was something else going on with the workstation that was causing additional problems.  The techs were able to resolve this by reimaging the machine and reinstalling all software.

Hi Patricia,

 

I would check a few things first of all.

 

Check that you can scan into a different application using the same scanner (Kodak capture for example or Ms Office).

 

If this is successful then I would try a different PC and see if you see the same issue.

 

Hopefully one of these will point you in the right direction!

If the scanner is not listed in the driver list in ScanConnect, then you probably don't have the ISIS driver for it installed.

MS Office would most likely use the TWAIN or WIA driver, so that might not be a good test. Double-check the installer that came with the scanner and see if the ISIS driver was installed.
