Stamp data is stored in the stamp table in the database. The image itself is saved in the stamp_image column. For custom stamps, the text is stored in the data1 column.

So if the old custom stamps no longer exist in the stamp table, then you would need to restore the database. It's not clear what may have happened to them.

Can you clarify what happened, what was done, and what your goal is now?

Are you saying that you uninstalled the Client and deleted its program files, and now the user (who used that workstation) no longer has his custom stamps to apply to documents?

The client had 15 custom stamps created. I uninstalled LF Client on a machine, deleted the Client8 folder, and reinstalled LF Client then cleared the user LF attributes (exported the attributes for backup), now the custom stamps are gone. The goal is to get the stamps back.

If the stamp table in the database doesn't contain any information regarding their custom stamps, then you would need to restore the database from backup. Note that the steps you mentioned above would not delete custom stamps.

As a quick test right now, you can create a new custom stamp and confirm that the data is written to the stamp table.

The client has LFS 8.3.1.663, just like to mention it :)

To clarify, you're not talking about single use stamps, are you?

In any case, did you try making a new custom stamp and confirm that it's getting saved in the stamp table? If the old custom stamps no longer exist in the stamp table, then you would need to restore the database. It's not clear what may have happened to them.
