Hi Somjeat,

When you say work with PostgreSQL, do you mean can Laserfiche use PostgreSQL as its database backend, or do you mean to ask whether Laserfiche can communicate with PostgreSQL?

If you are asking whether PostgreSQL can be used as the backend for Laserfiche, then Chris's post is correct; that is not a supported configuration.

If instead you are asking whether Laserfiche can communicate with PostgreSQL, that is possible. It looks like PostgreSQL has an ODBC driver, which should allow you to communicate with the database using the database functionality in Workflow and/or Quick Fields.

Hi Somjeat,

This KB article shows the supported configurations for LF9

https://support.laserfiche.com/KB/1013137

Postgres SQL is not shown so therefore you can assume it is not supported. MySQL is also not supported.

Hope this helps answer your question! smileyyes
