Question

How can I fully reset a development workflow environment

asked on August 11, 2014

Hi All

We have a customer which wishes to run a soft reset on a development workflow server, but retain the connection profiles.

I believe the easy way to do this, is to delete the workflow server database.

Then recreate it using the Workflow Configuration Console.

Can anyone suggest any other files / config we may need to remove ?

The connection profile are saved in the workflow definitions. If you export the workflows first and then change the SQL database to a clean one, you can import the workflows back in and retain the connection profiles.

So you're basically saying to wipe things clean, to go ahead and export a workflow that contains all the connection profiles, then wipe everything, then import that workflow back to get your connection profiles?
