Question

Incode TOP not storing documents in Laserfiche 9.1

asked on August 6, 2014

We are setting up integration between Incode and Laserfiche.  Laserfiche Scanning launched through Incode Content Manager works, but the TOP process is failing to store documents in Laserfiche.

Error log shows the following:

Document Monitor Log Path:
  Validating LaserFiche Helper...
LaserFiche Helper is not connected, attempting connection...

I wanted to post that this issue has been resolved.  The error was very generic.  I was able to get a Tyler developer to troubleshoot this issue.

There were two issues.

1.  In the Edenoutprocessor config file "filetype=tif" should have been "filetypes=tif"

2.  The code was looking for a folder in Laserfiche and when it didn't find the folder, it wanted to create a folder.  Code was changed from “entry_type_folder” to “entry_type_series".  Our city uses record series folders.

After we restarted the service all the docs in the TOP input folder processed and stored into Laserfiche.

Hey Wendy,

What integration are you using?  I'm not familiar with "Laserfiche Helper".

Hi Rob.

We are using the Tyler Incode integration called TOP for the merge documents.

The end user clicks an add-in and the document saves in an input folder on the Incode Server.  At that point it should be processed to save in the Laserfiche repository, but it goes to the failed folder.  The log states that the Laserfiche Helper(incode) cannot connect to the repository.

We used Wire Shark on Monday and we can see the conversation between the pc and the server, but we are not seeing an attempt from incode to laserfiche.

Hey Wendy,

This integration is actually designed by Tyler and with the information provided here, there's not much help that I'm going to be able to provide.  It sounds like you'll need to contact the integration developer to troubleshoot this issue.

Sorry I wasn't able to be more help.  Good luck!
