Capture signature with Topaz signature pad

I have created a fillable PDF and stored it in Laserfiche. If I open the document in Laserfiche, I can view the image. Once I check the document out and it opens in Adobe Reader XI and I capture the signature from the Topaz signature pad and save the document as a new document in Laserfiche, I can no longer view the PDF with the signature in Laserfiche. Is there a process or step that I am missing that will allow me to view the signed image within Laserfiche?

When you say you can no longer view the PDF, do you mean that there is an error, or that the PDF just isn't shown?

If it's an error, please post a screenshot.

If the document just isn't showing, is the document actually just image pages, with no associated PDF? The following shows what documents would look like in the entry listing if they just have pages, just have an associated PDF, and if they have both:

If the document only has Laserfiche image pages, check your new document settings: if you have "Generate Laserfiche Pages" selected and "Keep original PDF files" unselected, you would end up with just image pages.
