Feature Request: Alternative form of Publishing Forms

asked on July 25, 2014

I find that a lot of Forms processes should only be started certain ways. We may want users to use them at certain points, but not see them in the "Start" page. It would be beneficial to make a Form usable, but not published to the main page.

As an example, we have certain forms that are used once a year, or only when you first start working at the company. These are great and useful forms, but we do not need to have them shown on the start page. Instead, it would be better to be able to create an email we send to new users, or an alternative page that organizes these infrequent processes out of their daily life.

Hi there,

Can you give me some detail use case? About how you want the processes to be categorized? And what are the processes being used (once a year, when first start)?

Abby,

In the example I provided in my original post, we have forms that are meant to be used by new employees, and only ever used after that, when they are leaving the company or need to update information like their emergency contact information. Having the ability to create views would be great. Maybe if it were simply applying a tag to forms so that we can force views easily from inside new forms. The basics are this, we want the user when they log in, to have to interact with the menu system to get to the less frequently used forms, or just ones that cannot be started without predefined information. I understand we could make a page ourselves that only shows the forms we want, but that requires a lot of configuration each time we add a new form. That is not ideal.
